Jesse Pagel has been living, working, playing and training in the Madison area since 1998. A native of Wisconsin Rapids, he has been pursuing his passion for health & fitness – and sharing it with others – for nearly 25 years. Jesse has an Associate’s Degree in Dietetics from Madison College and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. In addition, he is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a level one-certified Crossfit instructor.
It was at a gym that Jesse first met his wife Tina in 2007. They now live in Monona with their 10-year-old daughter, Nyla, and take advantage of all the activities and adventures abundant in the area including gardening, nature walks, biking, rollerblading, and hockey.
With a focus on overall wellness and well-being, Jesse’s personal and small group training services focus on building strength, cultivating speed & agility, and enhancing athletic performance. For young and old, at all levels of fitness, Jesse’s passion lies in giving clients the tools and knowledge needed to pursue their best active and healthy lifestyle.
Jesse’s services are also informed by personal experience with mental health challenges and how fitness can play a key role in supporting healing and mental well-being. In the wake of the death of his brother in 2010, Jesse found himself in a tough spot dealing with grief, depression and generalized anxiety disorder. He learned then, personally and unequivocally, the role exercise plays in creating a happier, healthier life.
What Jesse delivers to his clients is infused with honor for his brother and a deep desire to show up as his best self for his family, friends and community. Even on days when it can be hard to find motivation, Jesse’s infectious energy and enthusiasm is a key ingredient in how he encourages people to show up, word hard and “become their own f------ hero.”
